Write52: Ray Bradbury Center

A partnership between Dr. Lois Silverman’s Museum Education course (MSTD-A510) and The Ray Bradbury Center (RBC).

“If you can write one short story a week — it doesn’t matter what the quality is to start, but at least you’re practicing, and at the end of the year you have 52 short stories, and I defy you to write 52 bad ones.” – Ray Bradbury
Point Loma Nazarene University’s Writer’s Symposium 2001
via Open Culture 2012

Write52 is a riveting and imaginative panel where you will dive into writing like you never have before! These live events will allow you to explore new topics such as creating futures, exploring Disney-inspired imagination, and embracing monsters, each led by expert panelists.

Every Write52 program includes a breakout session where you can workshop your story with one of the panelists or Ray Bradbury Center staff, as well as make connections with like-minded writers.

This program was designed so that any RBC staff, volunteer, or graduate student could pick up the program and run it using the materials and scripts included.
